Dearly Beloved,
I bid you welcome to the start of a new decade. I pray the courage to have fervent faith in God will be over you throughout this year and beyond. May you set your eyes on Him like a flint for the Lord will give you help, you will not be disgraced! When the Lord returns, may He find great faith in your heart. In Jesus name, Amen.
As is the custom of this house (gossipforjesus), I encourage you to seek the Lord for personal scriptures, songs and instructions for the year. We cannot overemphasize how important it is important to know God for yourself and find out by yourself what He has in store for you so you’re not led astray by false prophecies and doctrines.
What a year it has been! What a way to really round off the preceding decade! This year flew by and taught us so much! There are so many lessons to take into this new decade. In hindsight, I hope the year 2020 itself has answered why there was no 2020 Vision Board on this blog. Per the instructions we received, we did not even attempt to make one. We really could not have written anything that would have followed completely!
However, I am now being led to make public some of my notes regarding from the summer/fall of 2019 as they have been instructive for me throughout 2020 and I believe they will be instructive this year as well.
We will now share our vision board for 2021, and as the Holy Spirit leads you, hold fast to any or all of the words, promises and instructions we have received for this year!
Be blessed as you read!
1. FERVENT: From sometime in October/November 2020, the word fervent began to stand out to me whenever I communed with the Lord. This was later broken down into the phrase: Flint Focused Faith. This year, we’ll be exploring what it means to have Fervent Faith through those keywords.
The related verses are:
i. James 5:16 – Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
ii. Isaiah 50:7 – For the Lord God will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.
Other keywords we will explore include:
2. CHILD-LIKE FAITH:
I assure you and most solemnly say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God [with faith and humility] like a child will not enter it at all.
– Luke 18:17 See Also Matthew 18:3-4, Mark 10:15
3. GREAT FAITH:
Then Jesus answered her, “O woman, great is your faith! Be it done for you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed instantly
– Matthew 15:28. See Also Matthew 8:10, Luke 7:9
And will not [our just] God defend and avenge His elect [His chosen ones] who cry out to Him day and night? Will He delay [in providing justice] on their behalf? I tell you that He will defend and avenge them quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find [this kind of persistent] faith on the earth?”
– Luke 18:7-9 [AMP]
4. Rebuild: We’ll explore under this keyword what it means to rebuild God’s altar and seek His kingdom first above all else. The relevant verses here are Ezra 6 & Haggai 1-2.
5. Book Reviews: We’re adding this new segment to our activities, under this heading, we’ll be reading together and reviewing books that may or may not be related to the other keywords.
6.Music: When have you ever known us to finish a vision board without a song?! The song we’re holding to this year is called Follow from The Passerby Project by Chinonso Ude. Find the video below!
And that’s a wrap! Hope you enjoyed our Vision Board 2021, let us know what you’re most excited for, what you would like to see more of and so on! Hope you’ve been edified in one way or another.
May God, the father of our Lord Jesus Christ, give you grace and peace!
SELAH
Please keep doing the work of God I’ve learnt a lot from your messages even though it seems as if you want to back out keep up the good work God bless you.
