The Trust Affirmation.

Psalm-9-10

It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in people.

— Psalm 118:8 [NLT]

The Trust affirmation teaches us to declare our trust for the Lord in the most hopeless situations. No matter what we’re going through, our trust in the Lord must not falter.

Bible verses have been added to each affirmation to guide your reading, be sure to look them up! 

I trust in the Lord,

I trust in the Lord for it is better to trust in Him than to seek refuge with any man. (Psalm 118:8)

I trust in the Lord in my tribulation for it brings perseverance and proven character. (Romans 1:1-5)

I trust in the Lord for His yoke is easy and His burden is light, He gives me rest. (Matthew 11:28-30)

I trust in the Lord for He is faithful and keeps His covenant. (Deuteronomy 7:9)

I put my trust in the Lord for He is my refuge, I rest in His shadow for He is my strength and shield. (Psalm 28:7, Psalm 119:114, Psalm 91: 1-2, Psalm 46:1-2, 10, Psalm 18:30, Proverbs 30:5)

I trust the Lord with all my heart and acknowledge God in all my ways. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

I trust in the Lord for He keeps my mind in perfect peace. (Isaiah 26:3)

I trust in the Lord for He comforts me and gives me peace. (Isaiah 51:12, John 14:27)

I trust in the Lord when I am oppressed. He is my rock, a strong refuge in times of trouble. (Psalm 9:9, Isaiah 26:4)

I trust in the Lord and put my confidence in Him, He saves me from worry and makes me fruitful. (Jeremiah 17:7-8)

I trust in the Lord, for He keeps my way secure. He is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. (Psalm 37:5, Psalm 73:26, II Samuel 22:31-33)

I have no fear of bad news, my heart is not troubled for my trust is stedfast in the Lord. (Psalm 112:7, John 14:1)

I trust in the Lord at all times for He is my Hope. He has great plans for my future, I am called according to His purpose and He works all things together for my good. (Romans 8:28, Jeremiah 29:11, Psalm 62:5-8)
