#FunFactFriday – Because TGIF!
Did you know, Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy are the first five books of the bible that make up the pentateuch.
The traditional theory that Moses wrote Genesis and the other four books of the Pentateuch, is not supported by the internal evidence. For one thing, Moses never identifies himself as the author. For another, he is always referred to in the third person and lastly, there’s an account of his death at the end of Deuteronomy.
Can a man write about his own death?
What do you think?
Selah!
Wow! Never actually thought of it. You know how he is referred to as very meek. He probably didn’t want to ‘boast’ or claim ownership. But I think he wrote most of it and then maybe someone else edited and published. Lol, just my opinion, just the same way some great authors leave their pieces unpublished and when discovered upon death, someone just knows we can’t bury your work with you. The world needs to see this!
