#MeditationMonday – Out of the abundance of a man’s heart, his mouth speaks.
Romans 14: 8 – 12
(The emphasis today is on vs 8.)
We live for the Lord in all that we do and if we die, we die unto the Lord, this is something we must all have in our hearts and meditate on each day. Whether or not we want to admit it, we belong to the Lord and one day we will give account to him for all that we have done – vs 12.
It is important to realise that even unbelievers when they die will die unto the Lord and go to him for judgment because every knee must bow and acknowledge that Jesus is Lord, whether they do it on the earth or in heaven upon their death – vs 11.
We must realise that in life and in death, we are all God’s creation and we will choose with our actions whether we spend eternity in God’s hands or we spend it in torment.
As we start our week this monday, let’s try to remember that the endgame and most important thing on our to-do list each day as christians is to make sure our actions are leading us to the Kingdom of Heaven. We can do this by constantly reminding ourselves that we live for the Lord and we die unto the Lord!
Let’s make sure we never treat anyone with contempt or judge our brothers and sisters because all of us will stand before God’s judgment seat (vs 10). We should endeavour instead to lead as many people we can into the presence of the Father through our lifestyle! Let’s really start living for the Lord and let’s prepare our minds to know that when we die, we die for the Lord as well!
Meditate on this today and make sure that your actions are leading you in the right direction – i.e. towards the Kingdom of Heaven!
God bless you!
