#MeditationMonday – Out of the abundance of a man’s heart, his mouth speaks.  

The verse of the week is Numbers 23:19.

As we meditate on this verse throughout today and for the rest of the week, let’s remember that God does things in His own time and in His own season.

He gives perfect gifts and in Him there is no variableness or shadow of turning. (James 1:19). God does not lie because lying is a trait reserved for the devil and his cohorts.

If God has surely promised something He will do it, if you just Hold fast to His word and abide in Him (John 15:7) you will get what you have been promised, you will bear the fruit and have a testimony for everyone to hear.

Be sure that it is God who spoke, be sure that it was God who said that which you are looking forward to, so that you are not expecting what He never promised.

Be careful what you expect from God so that you won’t limit him in your mind and be disappointed over something He never told you He was going to do, If you expect something contrary to God’s will, you are in for a shock. God does things to His glory, He does not operate like mortals, so never lose hope in him.

Keep on abiding in His word and dwelling in His presence as you continue to be expectant – academically, in marriage, financially, healthwise – whatever it is, just be expectant that God does not change and If He has spoken and told you His will concerning you then very soon, He will act on your behalf.
