#FunFactFriday – Because TGIF!
Today is #goodfriday and all over the world we share the grief of Jesus’ crucifixion and death on the cross but did you know, that he was nailed in his wrists rather than his hands as most people commonly believe?
The human body supports its weight via joints and ligaments, if Jesus had been nailed in his hands, He would simply have fallen off!!
It is reported as “hands” in the bible because in those days, the wrists were still believed to be a part of the hand.
