#MeditationMonday – Out of the abundance of a man’s heart, his mouth speaks.
Its a new month, the month of February, the month of Love. Many of us have probably abandoned our New Year’s Resolutions, or forgotten the promises that we held in our hearts at the start of the year because they have not began to manifest in our lives.
At G4J we want to remind you that patience is the way and any doubt should be cast out. If God has promises, He will surely deliver. God is not a man that he should lie, neither is he the son of man that he should repent. Whatever he says he will do, he will surely do.
You have been waiting for your miracle since last year? or for the past 10 years? or just since January?
Keep your head high and keep your expectations high.
But Its a new month and nothing! To that I say SO WHAT!
You better Let God take his time please and best believe He is a God of drama, action and special effects. Let him take his time in adding finishing touches to your testimony! It’s for your benefit and all for His Glory. Where there is life, there is hope and God is definitely our hope. Keep on waiting and keep seeking him as you wait.
If God has started something in your life, he will surely bring it to pass. Hebrews 11 will testify to the many men and women who held hope in their hearts and remained patient with the Lord, they did not give up at the last minute and neither did our Lord fail them.
I know it may seem like you have heard this message of hope too many times to count. Trust me, one more time won’t hurt but this time we want you to sit and meditate on this:
IF GOD IS SURE, WHY DO YOU DOUBT?
After meditating, how about we do something practical.
Write down all the reasons why you doubt on a sheet of paper, then find some quiet time and raise this paper to the Lord in prayer. Tell Him that these doubts signify lies from the devil and that you repent from thinking about these lies. Now tell The Lord that these doubts/worries are His now, and that He should fight for you.
Now, throw away this paper (burn it, throw it out on the road, just get rid of it somehow)
This symbolises you taking your doubts to God in prayer and then removing those doubts from your heart.
Meditate on this today and be blessed!
